arteBA anuncia el listado completo de galerías participantes de arteBA 2016 que, en su edición aniversario, se propone celebrar una historia de 25 años de la escena local, programando un ciclo de actividades que trascienden los metros cuadrados del predio ferial articulándose con los principales museos e instituciones de Buenos Aires, para ofrecer una experiencia completa dedicada al arte contemporáneo y homenajear el crecimiento de un panorama artístico común.

En el marco de estos festejos hemos invitado a los 3 ganadores de nuestro programa Jóvenes Curadores a pensar una edición especial de la sección DIXIT: Federico Baeza (curador e investigador), Lara Marmor (historiadora del arte y curadora independiente) y Sebastián Vidal Mackinson (curador e investigador) presentarán Oasis, una propuesta curatorial, con más de 50 artistas, que recorrerá la producción de las artes visuales de los últimos años en el país.

A la celebración del arte argentino se suma una fuerte presencia internacional que estará representada por 43 galerías extranjeras provenientes de Portugal, España, Estados Unidos, México, Brasil, Colombia, Uruguay, Chile, Países Bajos, Alemania, Italia, Francia y Ecuador que, junto a las 42 galerías argentinas, serán las protagonistas de arteBA.2016, participando en las diversas secciones que propone la feria. 

arteBA is proud to announce the exhibitors list for the 25th edition of the fair which, for this important anniversary, will celebrate its quarter-century on the local scene by programming a series of activities that will go beyond the physical premises of La Rural convention center and connect with the major museums and institutions of Buenos Aires, in order to offer a complete experience dedicated to contemporary art and pay homage to the growth of a shared art panorama.

Within the framework of these festivities we have invited the three winners of our Young Curators (Jóvenes Curadores) Program to come up with a special edition of the section DIXIT: Federico Baeza (curator and researcher), Lara Marmor (art historian and freelance curator) and Sebastián Vidal Mackinson (curator and investigator) will present Oasis, a curatorial proposal, with over 50 artists, that will offer a survey of Argentine art production of recent years.

Added to this celebration of Argentine art, there will be a strong international presence, represented by 43 foreign galleries from Portugal, Spain, the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Uruguay, Chile, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, France and Ecuador; these galleries, together with the 42 galleries from Argentina, will be the protagonists of arteBA.2016, taking part in these various sections of the fair.
